Mr. Petey and Flash

I am pleased to share with you my experience working with animal communicator, Brenda Cunliffe.

I am a Morgan Horse breeder and as such have horses of varying ages (from weanlings to aged broodmares) and needs here at the farm. We also have our share of non-horse animal friends here. Brenda has helped us with several of our animal friends over the past two years.

Through Brenda we learned that one of our cats (Mr. Petey) would be very happy if we would provide him with a window seat on our porch. I thought that was certainly a reasonable request, so we bought one and he absolutely loves it! He spends hours there watching the activities of outside and many more hours just napping on his new perch.

We've engaged Brenda to deal with more serious issues as well. One of our aged broodmares (Flash, age 26) suddenly developed weakness in her hindquarters making it difficult for her to walk and at times even stand. When Brenda spoke with her we learned that she had started off quickly in a wet area in the pasture and that her back legs had slipped out behind her; she was now experiencing numbness in her back legs. I enlisted the help of a Cranio Sacral therapist and after two sessions she was ambulatory as normal; now she is back to running and bucking like a six-year old.

We've also used Brenda to talk with our horses before major life changes. One older mare was not tolerating our harsh winters and we were going to move her to a warmer climate where she would be more comfortable. She had been in the company of one of my other mares for twenty-three years. We talked about our plan with both mares and although they would miss one another, they understood it was for the best. The transition went smoothly and the mare left behind at our barn did well. She did not become depressed or go off her feed as I had seen happen in a similar situation three years earlier.

Through Brenda we also talk to our horses before they are sold and move to new homes or when they go off to training. I think this significantly reduces stress for the animal. (We certainly would not want to be loaded in a trailer and sent away not knowing if we would ever return home and wondering if we were being punished for something we might have done. I can only imagine what the horses make of these situations when no one explains anything to them.) Our horses now arrive at their trainers and new homes relaxed and happy and settle into their new surroundings with ease.

I have found taking advantage of Brenda's services as an animal communicator to be an invaluable tool time and time again. I know that my animal friends are much better off for the experience.
